A BIT ABOUT THE ARTIST AND CRAFTSMAN

Clint Jones

Clint Jones owner and operator of The Grey Thorn, has more than 30 years experience as a craftsman of custom picture frames and fine art. To say that he enjoys his work would be an understatement. His eye for detail and ability to bring a project from the initial concept to the finished product is what he loves to do.

At an early age Clint was introduced to art by his mother, who taught art class at Jack and Jill Kindergarten. He was to young to attend the school but would accompany her and remembers drawing and painting everyday. In High School he spent most of his time in wood shop and art class. After graduating Clint went directly to work in the art field, honing his skills. He has been a Framer and Master Framer for may galleries throughout the years. Clint's paintings and sculpture have been collected and used by designers and those in the film industry for decades. He was created to create.
